I live in Charleston,…its not really DANGEROUS like you may have heard, but you can clearly see which parts you DONT want to be in after dark. Im not exactally sure where you are talking about but you will be able to tell the safe parts from the not safe parts…

oh my god I used to know someone who lived there! His name was Billy. He was the biggest guy I knew but one day he was walking down Ashley street toward downtown and these guys threw a bottle at him and then stopped and got out of the car and started beating him up with baseball bats for no reason. There was witnesses so they caught them all. They said it was for a gang initiation or something.
